Sony Unveils New Accessibility-Minded PS5 Controller
Making gaming more inclusive for those with disabilities.

Sony has debuted a new iteration of its PlayStation 5 controller designed for accessible accommodations. Dubbed the Access controller, the controller comes in a customizable kit, where those with disabilities can build out the controller to meet their personal needs.
Within the kit is an assortment are swappable button and stick caps that owners can swap out for their desired experience. Analog stick caps come in standard, dome and ball stick formats. Button caps, meanwhile, are offered in different shapes, including pillow, flat, wide, overhang and curve. The controller comes with four 3.5mm AUX ports located throughout.
As for the body of the Access controller, players can hold it in their hand or use it while laying it down flat. It can also be oriented 360 degrees or hatched onto a tripod.
The Access controller isn’t available just yet but those interested can sign up to be informed when pre-orders open.
