Balenciaga Drops the 3XL Trainer in "Fluo Yellow/Blue" and "Pink" Colorways
Yours for $1,090 USD.
As Balenciaga gears up for its Spring 2024 digital showcase, Demna keeps us on our toes with even more footwear releases, notably two new colorways of the Balenciaga 3XL Trainer.
Following up on the divisive dirt-caked pair that emulate the ones worn during Balenciaga’s controversial Summer 2023 “The Mud Show,” the brand now serves the aged dad sneaker in “Fluo Yellow/Blue” and “Pink” colors.
As expected, the sneaker presents itself in a blend of mesh and polyurethane, with worn-out detailing frequenting the pair all over. Notably, laces are wrapped around the sneaker to “hold” it together, the retro runner-style sole unit is scuffed and aged, and parts of the mesh are dirtied for that extra worn-in look.
Naturally, you get a host of Balenciaga branding, EU sizing noted on the heel, and a look that’s exaggerated per Demna codes. Both colorways retail for £850/$1,090 USD, and both can be bought online or in stores now.
