As the NBA playoffs continue to bring the heat, Los Angeles-based eyewear label AKILA has dropped off a new set of sunglasses, in collaboration with six of the league’s top teams: the Los Angeles Lakers, the New York Knicks, the Chicago Bulls, the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors.

The officially licensed collection reworks AKILA’s popular Jubilee frame, with gradient team-inspired lenses and hand-painted NBA team logo plates situated on both corners. The style boasts a chunky construction with a contoured, rectangular profile and dual branding lining the inner side of each temple.

Among the range, the Lakers pair dons a purple-to-yellow gradient lens; the Knicks style features a similar blue-to-orange transition, and the Bulls design hosts a bright red frame, in lieu of colored lenses. Each pair of sunglasses arrives inside a custom-designed carrying case, designed with team colors at the fore, along with an in-theme lens cloth.

AKILA’s NBA sunglasses collection is now available to shop in stores and on the brand’s webstore. Each pair is priced at $150 USD.

Take a look at the range in the gallery above.
