Thibo Denis Teases New Summer-Ready Colorways for Dior x Birkenstock Collaboration
Likely to receive a similar buckle to the 2022 collab.
Taking to Instagram, Thibo teased the soles of upcoming Dior x Birkenstock collaborations, including one in neon yellow, mint green and dark olive green. While it is uncertain what silhouette these soles belong to, it can be expected that the co-branded sandals will feature the similar stand-out technical buckle seen on last year’s collab. The shoe will likely be constructed out of luxury fabrics and materials, maintaining a mule-like structure or the iconic straps from Birkenstock sandals.
About a year ago, Thibo showcased one of the first collections of the Dior x Birkenstock collaboration which showed the mule silhouette features the backstrap. The sandals were constructed out of suede and leather but arrived in more neutral tones. As summer is approaching, the extra pop of color may just be what Dior is looking to release for the upcoming season. No release date has been confirmed just yet.
