AURALEE Reveals Its New Balance RC30 Collaboration
Arriving in “Hunter Green” and “Tan” colorways.
When it comes to collaborative projects, New Balance has a handful of partners that it will revisit every season for collaborative projects. One of those is AURALEE — a Tokyo-based fashion label who has worked with the Boston sportswear company on silhouettes like the 550 and XC-72. And this season, it’s being tapped again to unveil a new initiative that’s centered around the New Balance RC30.
Two colorways are involved in this assemblage including the “Tan” offering and the “Hunter Green” installment, both of which walked the runway during AURALEE‘s Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show. In a similar fashion to its past projects, AURALEE leans on monochromatic motifs to dress up each iteration and focuses more on elevated materials rather than overstated details. Premium suede is utilized to construct the base layers and comes with tonal New Balance tongue branding and laces. Additionally, both of the earth-toned colorways ride atop matching, rippled outsole pieces.
