Update: In continuation of the Air Jordan 2 Low’s prominence in the Jumpman team’s lifestyle offerings, the previously-revealed “Sky J Orange” colorway is on its way following an official breakdown of the pair. Taking inspiration from the Chicago skyline spotted in the background of Michael Jordan’s original Jumpman image, the pair is a fitting tribute to his legacy. Release remains set for August 10 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $150 USD. For more info, peep our previous coverage below.
Original Story: Looking back, 2022 was undoubtedly the year of the Air Jordan 2 for Jordan Brand. While many of its tried and true silhouettes saw successful runs, none can compare to the AJ2’s dominance in both the collaborative and general release space. Everything from the A Ma Maniére collaboration to the return of the classic “Chicago” colorway kept fans on their toes. Now, the Air Jordan 2 Low continues its run with a new “Sky J Orange” look.
In its latest form, the AJ2 Low kicks things off with its upper’s construction that toggles between nubuck and suede for a premium presentation. A majority of the sneaker lends itself to a soft “Sky J Orange” with “Sky J Mauve” chiming in around the heel and at the lining. Completing the look, a “Sail” sole unit features hits of orange.
While the Swoosh has yet to reveal any information about the Air Jordan 2 Low “Sky J Orange,” insiders are pointing to an August 10 release date via Nike and select retailers in women’s sizing at a price of $150 USD.
