Official Images of the Air Jordan 2 "Chicago"
Jordan Brand to close out 2022 with an old school classic.
Before the year comes to a close, Jordan Brand is going to make room for another one of its most classic colorways to make a glorious return: the Air Jordan 2 “Chicago.” The signature silhouette has had quite a tremendous year of collaborative projects with partners such as J Balvin, Union LA, A Ma Maniére and more, and this old school bring-back makes for a fitting conclusion for its 35th-anniversary celebration.
The gallery above displays official images of the model’s women’s pair, but its design elements remain true to the original. Top layers are established with angelic smoother leathers that make up the collars, toe boxes, quarters and mudguards while white, scaly panels are used for the overlays. To further echo its Bulls-inspired motif, the laces and interior liners arrive with black exteriors, while Chicago-friendly reds fill in the ball-and-wings logos on that appear on the tongues as well as the mold and Nike branding that is parked out on the rear. Below, the bottom pieces complete its retro design with their stealthy midsoles and three-toned soles.
You can expect these to drop alongside the men’s pair come December 30 via SNKRS and other retailers for $200 USD.
