Mizuno's New Wave Rider Beta Is All About Elevation
Placing a brand-new silhouette atop the Wave Rider 26 sole unit.
Japanese label Mizuno has just presented its new footwear pack and this time the exploration specialist has unveiled two revitalized versions of its Wave Rider silhouette.
Recently, Mizuno has showcased an assemblage of different iterations of its classic Wave Rider sneaker. From the Wave Rider 10 in the “Premium Pack,” to the sandy iteration included in the “Desert Meditation Pack,” and the recently-unveiled collaboration with Maharishi, Mizuno has continuously managed to give one of its most prized sneakers fresh bursts of life and thus, keeping it at the forefront of popularity for all of its brand followers.
Now Mizuno’s latest presentation of the sneaker boasts a design that’s a combination of brand-wide tradition and craftsmanship while continuing to keep its functionality-focused lens at the forefront of the creation. As a whole, the new sneaker draws inspiration from a selection of Wave Rider designs, however, this Beta version of the shoe is a brand-new silhouette that sits atop the sole unit of one of the brand’s most popular running shoes: the Wave Rider 26.
Coming in “Snow White” and “Insignia Blue” colorways, the sneaker also features a pointed toe at the heart of the design, while customary Mizuno branding is also applied to the laterally-facing portion of each heel counter, as well as the tongues and lateral side walls.
You can take a closer look at the latest footwear drop from Mizuno above and it is available to shop via the brand’s official website and with select retailers from March 24.
