Jacquemus Debuts Its SS23 "LE RAPHIA" Runway-Ready Les Mules Goia
The puffy platform silhouette arrives in denim or suede variations.
Fresh from the runway, Jacquemus has dropped its Spring/Summer 2023 “LE RAPHIA” Les mules Goia.
The new silhouette comprises a molded upper that wraps around the foot, creating bulbous and curvaceous shapes from rubberized leather. Taking two forms, the mules appear with either contrasting denim uppers or suede uppers, both of which flow into the rubberized leather bumper that runs around the shoe, doubling as its platform sole unit.
Beneath, you’ll find a tonal outsole, which is smooth and branded — much like the leather insole which isn’t just branded, but also features sculpted ergonomic details for extra comfort.
Little else is going on with the Les mules Goia, but that is the Jacquemues way. Paired with flowing cotton drill trousers, a camp collar shirt and a straw hat vibe, and you’ve got a look perfect for a Simon Porte Jacqeumus-approved getaway.
