INVINCIBLE x DAYZ adidas Originals Campus 80 Release

Coming together for Spring/Summer 2023, INVINCIBLE and DAYZ have collaborated to reimagine a classic adidas Originals silhouette. The INVINCIBLE x DAYZ adidas Originals Campus 80 takes it back to the ’90s by reimagining the shoe in luxurious tweed. The high street creation serves to break down gender norms and create a fresh perspective toward contemporary street style.

For its latest collaboration Taiwanese streetwear and sneaker boutique INVINCIBLE tapped DAYZ, the Tokyo retailer by DELUXE and BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS designer Masafumi Watanabe. Since its opening in 2020, DAYZ has received support from collaborators of Ura-Harajuku to become one of the hottest spots in Shibuya’s Miyashita Park.

The INVINCIBLE x DAYZ adidas Originals Campus 80 builds on the street fashion history of the shoe, originally launched in 1983, while referencing the place of tweed in the context and development of pop culture through fashion. The collision of haute couture and street style resulted in tweed uppers contrasting leather Three Stripes branding, panels, and sock lining. Offered in “Black” and “White” (INVINCIBLE/DAYZ Exclusive), the design of the shoe is completed by INVINCIBLE and DAYZ’s markings at the heel panels and white outsoles.

Priced at $4,890 NTD (approximately $160 USD), the INVINCIBLE x DAYZ adidas Originals Campus 80 will be available at DAYZ, INVINCIBLE (Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Shanghai, Chengdu, Jakarta), and INVINCIBLE SP March 18.
