Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin Unveils the Laureato in Green Ceramic
A nod to British car racing.

Girard-Perregaux is joined by Aston Martin to premiere a special edition of the Maison’s signature Laureato model. For the first time, the timepiece will be attired in a green ceramic build and will be offered in both 42mm and 38mm case sizes in a limited quantity.
Both the Maison and the renowned marque have combined their respective expertise and craftsmanship in the development of this special collaborative piece. Dressed in a sleek green, the watch pays tribute to the art of British racing in a hue that nods to traditional race cars for the country. On top of that, the dial is graced with skeletonized, baton-like hour and minute hands, and a cross-hatch patterned dial that references the quilted seats in some of Aston Martin’s most high-performance cars.
Although ultra-modern materials were implemented, this special watch upholds the signature Laureato model’s classic features such as the octagonal bezel, but in an upgraded ceramic construction with incorporated zirconium oxide and metallic oxides. The development of this collaborative time-teller not only took years to conceptualize, but the resulting timepiece now boasts an exterior that is seven times more durable than steel.
With only 188 units made, the 38mm version comes equipped with the GP01800 Calibre and will retail for $25,000 USD. Meanwhile, for the price of $25,800 USD, the 42mm edition runs on the GP03300 Calibre and will have 388 units available. Both self-winding in-house movements are visible from the sapphire crystal caseback where a white Aston Martin decal adorns the center.
