Marvel and LEGO Connect for Star-Lord's Helmet Set
Capturing the Guardians of the Galaxy leader.
After working with Star Wars on a number of helmets celebrating the likes of Clone Commander Cody and Boba Fett, LEGO now connects with Marvel for a Star-Lord helmet build ahead of the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on May 5.
Worn by Peter Quill in the films, the expanding partial helmet features bright red bug eyes and a built-in pressurized gas mask tinted in silver and gold. The buildable replica, measuring 7 in. high, 4.5 in. wide, and, 5 in. deep, features 602 bricks mounted on a display base with a nameplate. The helmet was first spotted on Star-Lord on the planet Morag when attempting to obtain the Orb and has since then become a defining piece of gear for the character.
The LEGO Star-Lord Helmet will release on April 1 for $79.99. Pre-orders are now open on the LEGO website.
