Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has revealed the official new colorway with Jordan Brand for his first signature shoe. The Jordan Tatum 1 arrives in a “Zoo” colorway to kick off the spring season as a tribute to his son Deuce. The colorway was first announced when last year when the signature shoe was made public, becoming one of three colorways to first arrive for the Jordan Tatum 1.

The basketball shoe comes dressed in a black, metallic gold, university gold and beach color scheme. The shoe is inspired by his son Deuce’s favorite place, the zoo, and comes featuring animal patterns all across the upper. The phrase, “Welcome to the Zoo” is also seen printed on the insoles. The upper is mostly constructed in black mesh, with red accents throughout the shoe. The shoe is also made with a lightweight, reinforced TPU frame, allowing excess material to be stripped away, therefore making it the lights Jordan Brand shoe. With an uncaged Zoom Air unit in the forefoot, it helps to provide energy return without sacrificing the court feel. The shoe sits atop a beach beige midsole and a semi-translucent outsole to round out the design.

Look out for Jordan Tatum 1 “Zoo” arriving in select retailers and online at Nike starting on April 7 for $120 USD.
