Jacquemus Immortalizes Its Le Chiquito It-Bag as a Silver-Cast Necklace
The teeny viral accessory can now shine around your neck.
In 2017, Simon Porte Jacquemus debuted his game-changing it-bag, the Jacquemus Le Chiquito. Its micro size and the variety of colors on offer quickly rose to cult critical acclaim, subsequently starting the tiny bag trend that had Y2K fanatics in a chokehold. Now, courtesy of Jacquemus’ Fall 2022 “LE PAPIER” collection, the Le Chiquito has been immortalized in the form of a necklace.
Sitting on a silver-plated brass curb chain, the teeny tiny handbag (made from the same metal composition) hangs delicately on the neckline, sitting in line with the clavicle.
Just like the real thing, you’ll find Jacquemus’ branding engraved into the lower left corner, with its top handles looping around the chain. An engraved lobster clasp rounds out the 57cm drop necklace.
Take a look at the unisex accessory above, and head over to Jacqeumus’ website to pick it up now for £140 or $185 USD.
In other news, this emerging UK label is putting a welcomed focus on tailoring.
