Did EYTYS Just Reinvent the Biker Jacket?
Perhaps, with the release of its new “Rush” coat.

The biker jacket is one of the most iconic pieces of outerwear one can own. Suitable for all occasions, the piece is warm, functional, stylish, and works with pretty much any outfit. It’s why the likes of CELINE and Saint Laurent have maintained production of their biker jackets for decades, and it’s also where you’ll find the Swedish imprint EYTYS stepping into with its latest collection.
Following on from an array of biker jackets and biker-inspired blazers that came as part of the Fall/Winter 2023 collection, EYTYS now introduces the “Rush” coat. Few biker jackets ever grow into a coat — notably, the best you can find elsewhere is indeed from Saint Laurent — but this is exactly what the Max Schiller and Jonathan Hirschfeld-founded label has done.
It arrives in an “Orca” colorway, earning its name for the black and white paneling that makes up the coat’s construction. There’s a sense of fluidity to the piece, as shapes shift across the coat, while signature elements like padded elbows and shoulders remain. Likewise, a stud-popper neck fastener and plenty of zipped pockets frequent the “Rush” coat, subsequently rounding out the unique item.
It’s hard for a singular piece to define a brand, but that is what EYTYS has achieved with the new number. In dropping it, EYTYS shows the world that it is much more than a footwear brand, but a label capable of producing a uniform for its die-hard following.
Take a look at the “Rush” coat above, and pick it up for £1,800 (approx. $2,230 USD) from EYTYS’ website now.
