Disney Unveils Teaser Trailer for 'Haunted Mansion' Remake
Bringing the iconic and eerie Disneyland to life.
Disney has officially released the teaser trailer for its upcoming eerie remake of the 2003 film Haunted Mansion. The film tasks after the creepiness of the iconic ride at Disneyland and features a star-studded cast that includes LaKeith Stanfield, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jared Leto, Winona Ryder, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Dan Levy, Tiffany Haddish.
The trailer shows Dawson taking the lead as Gabbie, a single mom who unknowingly moves into a haunted New Orleans home with her nine-year-old son, played by Chase Dillon. To get rid of all the ghosts in her home, she enlists a group of people to exorcise her new home. She calls upon the questionable paranormal expert played by Stanfield, a psychic (Haddish) and a historian (DeVito) to help finish the job. Leto plays the Hatbox Ghost, a head who vanishes from his shoulders and reappears in his signature hatbox at a moment’s notice. The apparition was first introduced to the attraction for a brief time in 1969 but was then removed. The ghost character was then reinstated in 2015.
