Adidas Officially Announces the Harden Vol. 7
The new silhouette is labeled as the future of adidas Basketball.
Adidas has officially launched its new adidas Basketball silhouette, the Harden Vol. 7. The shoe also marks NBA star James Harden‘s seventh signature shoe.
The German sportswear company brands the shoe as “the future of adidas Basketball design rooted in versatility and innovation.” Heavily informed by Harden’s distinctive fashion off the court and on-court movement, the design of the shoe aims to blur the lines of “performance, fashion and lifestyle. Eric Wise, adidas Basketball’s Global General Manager said, “That’s exactly what we needed the Harden Vol 7 to be. A true embodiment of style, ingenuity, swagger and ultimately confidence.”
The adidas Harden Vol. 7 first surfaced in “Silver Metallic” and later the in bold red “Better Scarlet” and a clean black and white version, “Cloud White.” The shoe is considered one of the brand’s most versatile silhouettes. Harden’s seventh signature shoe brings an elevated aesthetic and makeup to adidas Basketball silhouettes, featuring a new and caged Jet Boost midsole for improved stability and energy return, a knit bootie for comfort and protection, and padded textile quarter panels for improved durability. With a two-layer heel counter, there is added support and cushioning in the heel and Achilles while refined textile for the toe cap increases the durability in high abrasion areas. More colorways are expected to arrive later this year.
The Harden Vol. 7 is available now in select retailers and on adidas for $160 USD.
