Edison Chen Teases Another CLOT x Nike "CLOTEZ"
Arriving in the shoe’s original colors.
Throughout 2023, CLOT has continued its collaborative conquest by connecting with everyone from Levi’s to CASETiFY. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Edison Chen’s label has also teamed up with Nike to introduced a new silhouette — the “CLOTEZ.” A spin on Nike’s classic Cortez, the model has arrived in a yin-yang-inspired “Black/White” as well as a Bruce Lee-inspired “Yellow/Black.” Now, Chen has taken to Instagram to share a first look at another “CLOTEZ” colorway.
Drawing from the Cortez’s original “White/Game Royal-University Red” composition, the 3-in-1 design connects past and present. Also referred to as the “Forrest Gump” look — due to its prominent placement in the film — white outfits a majority of the shapeshifting sneaker as its blue and red hues serve as contrasting colors at key locations.
Stay tuned for more early looks and a complete reveal of the sneaker as it’s currently expected to land on shelves this spring via Nike and select retailers, likely at its predecessors’ price of $140 USD.
