Tissot’s Basketball Edition Supersport Chronograph Is a Nod to Urban Culture
Arriving in a black and orange colorway.
Tissot just introduced a new Supersport Chrono timepiece to its collection of modern chronographs. Pulling together the quality of Swiss watchmaking with high-energy yet dynamic aesthetics, the latest Basketball Edition unites the watchmaker’s connection with the sport’s urban origins.
The Supersport model has always been a symbol of quality and versatility for Tissot. As a high-performance sports watch, the latest special edition demonstrates a distinctive urban appeal with its primarily black and orange colorway. Attired in a 45.5mm black PVD-coated stainless steel case with matching pushers, the center of its black dial is highlighted with a basketball net pattern in a soft vignette effect.
Adorning the dial are three subdials, two for the chronograph’s 1/10th of second and 30-minute counters, while the third captures the watch’s running seconds. The indices and hands are doused in SuperLuminova to ensure visibility under all kinds of conditions. Inside the timepiece runs a quartz chronograph movement with an EOL battery indicator. Completing the watch is a black leather strap with oranger corner stitching that ties in with the color palette while nodding to the NBA’s official game ball.
The Supersport Chrono Basketball Edition is currently available for the price of £410.00 GBP (approximately $450 USD). For more information, visit Tissot’s official website.
