Lil Nas X has shared with his Twitter fans when his next album might be dropping.

The avid Twitter user responded to a question from a fan who asked when his new album will be coming and he promptly responded, “most likely summer.” This will mark the artist’s second album. His debut album MONTERO arrived in 2021. He later followed up with a collaboration with YoungBoy NBA for “Late To Da Party” and League of Legends anthem, “STAR WALKIN’” in 2022.

In the same thread, Lil Nas X shares that currently, the album is still in need of “planning” to get the record finished, “I could easily just release music but I have to build moments around this shit. I have to go bigger than before.” When another fan asked how many tracks it would have, he said, “I love so many songs plus I’m still in the studio making music so it’s [going to] be hard to pick.” He also teased that this album is likely to feature fewer sad songs as he has “been too happy lately.”

For now, fans will just have to wait until the summer to see if Lil Nas X will drop a new album.
