‘Mortal Kombat 12’ Is Coming
After a quiet announcement from a Warner Bros. earnings call.
Mortal Kombat 12 is on the way, according to Kotaku.
Although an official announcement is yet to come, the forthcoming title was quietly announced during a Warner Bros. Discovery earnings call. During the Q4 earnings call, Warner Bros. president and CEO, David Zaslav, said “…there’s lots more to come, including the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, games also set for release this year with ambitious launch projections.”

What’s striking about the quiet announcement is that the new edition is set to arrive sometime this year. Mortal Kombat 11 made its debut in April of 2019, which was met with a pretty positive reception.
