Hiroshi Fujiwara Shows Off a Denim-Paneled Air Force 1 Low
A subtle and clean twist on the 41 year-old silhouette.

When it comes to the realm of sneakers, Hiroshi Fujiwara never strays too far from the headlines as he recently cooked up a collaborative Converse x FRGMT By You initiative and his unseen fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High “Croc” sample was shown off by die-hard sneaker connoisseur Mayor earlier this year. And to cap off the month of February, the one they call the “Godfather of streetwear” has now taken to Instagram to show off a denim-paneled Air Force 1 Low colorway.
It’s still unclear if this is an official collaboration with the Nike, a custom colorway or an early sample of an inline release, but its minimal presentation and neutral-heavy palette does speak to fragment design’s signature language. Upper halves appear to be put together with premium, tumbled leather that is mostly styled in white, and this comes complemented by black, denim-infused quarter panels and Swooshes for added texture and contrast. Additionally, the heightened parts of the heel have been equipped with a solid black overlay. The remaining elements of the kicks such as the laces, interior liners, midsoles and treading have been left untouched and left with a colorless appearance.
If more information regarding this makeup surfaces in the coming months, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
For other news, a CLOT x Nike “CLOTEZ” in “Black/Varsity Maize” has been revealed.
