Rimowa’s New Original Pilot Silver Honors a Brand Signature

Around the globe, Rimowa is known for its attention to elevating the art of travel. Whether it be carry-on suitcases or pieces for the long haul, its signature aluminum design has pervaded the landscape of one of undeniable class. Now the German company is digging back into its history with its new Original Pilot Silver.
The new piece updates Rimowa’s Original Pilot, which was released in 1994 as a pilot’s case. The re-edition features the brand’s signature grooved aluminum exterior, a stage-free telescopic handle and a multi-wheel movement system. Additionally, the case includes an adjustable interior, a padded compartment and several pockets. Finishing off the item is a vintage sticker set with five original Rimowa designs that channel ’90s aviation companies.
