Grand Seiko to Launch Its Poetic SBGJ27 ‘Yukigesho’ Timepiece
Featuring a textured dial inspired by the dusting of snow.

Following the reveal of the SBGC253, Grand Seiko has unveiled another GMT model that’s due to hit the stores in March — the SBGJ27 “Yukigesho.”
As part of the Hi-Beat Elegance GMT collection, the timepiece is characterized by its texture dial doused in a pristine and wintry palette. Its name, “Yukigesho” is a Japanese poetic expression that describes the dusting of snow, which is tastefully translated onto the pattern dial.
Like Grand Seiko’s other Hi-Beat GMTs, the SBGJ27 features a 39.5mm stainless steel exterior that houses the Hi-Beat GMT Calibre 9S86 with up to 55 hours of power reserve. Secured with six screws, the caseback reveals the automatic with manual winding movement through its anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal. Completing the piece is the matching stainless steel bracelet, finished with a three-fold clasp and push button release.
Scheduled to release in March, the SBGJ27 “Yukigesho” timepiece will be available via Grand Seiko for the price of $7,100 USD. Visit the brand’s official website for more information.
