STAMM Unveils Collection 3 Lookbook for FW23
Exploring themes of humanity and connectedness.
Earlier this month, STAMM debuted its first runway for Fall/Winter 2023 during Copenhagen Fashion Week. The emerging co-ed label has now unveiled the official lookbook for its Collection 3, entitled Inner G.
As a finalist in the Zalando Sustainability Award, designer Elisabet Stamm sees her label as a Scandinavian brand with a global outlook. The collection presents gender-fluid organic silhouettes with plenty of room for personal styling and layering. Jackets and coats constructed in STAMM’s “Fly” silhouette dominate the lineup, where the sleeve is constructed to combine with the back to create an organized form that promotes comfort and movement. As for fabrics, the collection juggles between natural, organic handspun cotton with the more lightweight and recycled manmade materials.
Speaking on the idea behind Inner G, Elisabet Stamm explains that the letter refers to bringing oneself across. “As I bring myself into my work the collection reflects a personal journey and I believe one that collides with a journey many will sense.”
Every piece in the collection is a manifestation of STAMM’s consciousness and the connectedness shared between Elisabet and other creatives. “The value of believing that we are all more alike than unalike. The wish to break boundaries, by working across countries and borders. We need humanity and connectedness. Being connected not only to a community of like-minded people but to oneself. In that sense, we want to bring something universal without distinctions,” the designer states.
