Months after the release of Drake and 21 Savage‘s joint album Her Loss and the subsequent promotional material that was released along with it, the rappers and Condé Nast have finally settled the lawsuit.

When Drake first promoted the album, he released a parody Vogue cover that saw himself and 21 on the cover. Condé Nast sued the duo for trademark infringement, seeking out $4 million USD in statuary damages. The campaign mimicked a fake press tour that accompanied the album’s release and also saw fake posters go up in New York City and all across other metropolitans. 21 Savage also appeared in a fake interview for Vogue‘s “What’s in My Bag?” series while Drake name-checked Editor-In-Chief, Anna Wintour, in an Instagram post. The campaign also saw the two make a fake appearance on a SNL episode and NPR and Howard Stern’s interview.

Condé Nast has won the conjunction and the rappers have now reached a settlement with the publication. Terms of the settlement have not been disclosed but it is believed to have been a “monetary settlement,” according to WWD. The fake Vogue covered managed to fool many onlookers who thought that Drake and 21 Savage had landed the highly-coveted cover. The publisher had originally issued a cease and desist letter in an effort to get both rappers and Hilzik Strategies to stop using the material to promote their album. Representatives for the trio did not comment.

In other fashion news, Pharrell’s appointment at Louis Vuitton continues the era of multi-hyphenate creative directors.
