100 gecs has officially released a fan-favorite single from their recent live shows. “Hollywood Baby” keeps the energy high, kicking off the track with a heavy rock-style guitar intro.

Long before it made its way to streaming services, “Hollywood Baby” was popularized online as fans shared videos of the electronic duo performing the song live, with their first-ever rendition dating back to late 2021. It was so beloved by the fanbase that many memorized its lyrics so that they were ready to sing along when Laura Les and Dylan Brady performed it once again.

The long-awaited official debut of the single comes accompanied by a music video directed by their frequent collaborator Weston Allen. Matching the track’s chaotic energy, the visual show Les and Brady haphazardly setting fireworks off in their apartment.

Along with “Hollywood Baby,” 100 gecs has also revealed the 10-song tracklist for their forthcoming album, 10,000 gecs. The project has been in the works since 2021 and includes the previously-released “Mememe,” “Doritos & Fritos,” and “Hollywood Baby,” along with a few never-before-heard cuts.

10,000 gecs is scheduled to release on March 17 via Dog Show Records/Atlantic Records. Beginning on April 4 in San Jose, California, the duo will head on a cross-country tour joined by Machine Girl and Fever Ray.
