And Wander and Salomon Reconnect for XT-Slate Sneakers

and wander, an outdoor brand founded by former ISSEY MIYAKE designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, has unveiled a new iteration of Salomon‘s XT-SLATE sneaker. The pairs come shortly after Salomon revealed a special take on the silhouette with Wood Wood, and follows and wander and Salomon’s long line of collaborations stretching back to 2019.
The upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 pairs feature white embossed waffle uppers incorporating patterns inspired by the landscape of rocky trails. Technical details include quick lace systems for convenience, Agile Chassis™ Skeleton, and mustard yellow Contagrip non-slip outsoles. Rounding out the look are multicolor nylon strips running down the tongue featuring and wander logo branding.
The SALOMON XT-SLATE for and wander is now available for pre-order at the and wander website for ¥39,600 JPY (approximately $300 USD). The official launch via select retailers and online is scheduled for Febraury 17.
