On the highly-anticipated Fast X trailer premiere on Thursday, Vin Diesel revealed to Variety that he would like Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. to join the family for the last film of The Fast Saga. If Diesel is successful, Downey Jr. will be the second Marvel actor to join the franchise following the arrival of Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) this year.

“Without telling you too much about what happens in the future, there’s a character who is the antithesis of Dom who is promoting AI and driverless cars and a philosophy that with that goes your freedom,” said Diesel in the interview. “There is somebody that believes that’s the future, and that’s at direct odds with the Toretto mentality.”

When asked if he has approached Downey Jr. about the role, Diesel playfully growls and walks away as if he’s shared too much already. Co-star Michelle Rodriguez was also asked the same question about who she wants in the franchise, and she names Matt Damon.

“Matt Damon, would you be in a Fast and Furious movie?” Says Rodrigez straight to the camera. “C’mon, we got four Oscar winners, man. And you’re an Oscar winner!”

Fast X premieres in theaters on May 19 with the final Fast & Furious film set to follow relatively shortly after.
