KAWS Joins Sky High Farm and Nike to Celebrate 10 Years of DSMNY
The charity-oriented release features two Air Force 1 Lows and complementary apparel options.
As December has begun, the year’s nearly over. However, there’s still new high-powered collaborations popping up each day. The latest to hit the net involves American artist KAWS, philanthropy-focused brand Sky High Farm Workwear, Nike and Dover Street Market New York (DSMNY). Coming together for a capsule involving footwear and apparel, the superteam sat down with GQ for an exclusive interview discussing what to expect from the forthcoming project that has been assembled for the 10th anniversary of DSMNY.
The focal point of the collaboration sees KAWS’ instantly-recognizable art style come to life on the Air Force 1 Low at the Swooshes, resting atop leather “Triple White” and “Triple Black” colorways. In addition to the two footwear options, complementary apparel has been designed, which GQ notes as including a “KAWS-designed chore coat, hoodie and more.”
Release for the entire KAWS x Sky High Farm Workwear x Nike collaboration is scheduled to take place on December 16. Look for it to be made available in limited quantities via Sky High Farm and Dover Street Market New York. Proceeds support Sky High Farm — a “nonprofit increasing access to fresh, local food through direct donation of 100% of harvests and investing in long-term solutions for food security.” Stay tuned for more details and images of the collaboration as we near its launch period.
