On Christmas Day, Devin Booker debuted a new colorway for his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1. The latest iteration appears to be inspired by the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” colorway, bringing a sense of nostalgia to the courts for Book.

It was only earlier this year that Booker unveiled his first signature shoe with the Swoosh. Fans will have to wait to purchase his new shoe in Spring 2024, though Booker himself has already begun wearing his signature shoe, not yet on the shelves. At age 27, Booker has been in the league for eight years and is now a three-time All-Star and has even received the All-NBA honors once on occasion.

In the matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, Booker debuted the “Neon” inspired Book 1s that seem to directly pay tribute to the original 1995 classic sneaker. The Air Max 95 is near and dear to Booker, having worn it growing up and is his father’s favorite shoe. The Air Max-inspired shoe sports a quilted textile featuring smooth nubuck overlays that see the mid-foot, vamp, quarter, collar and mesh tongue covered ina. cool grey accent. The color matches the inner lining and laces while black highlights the mudguard and midsole. Neon hits the profile Swooshes, tongue tab and book-page heel spite on top of a semi-translucent tread.

Take a look at the Nike Book 1 x Air Max 95 “Neon” iteration above or below. It is uncertain if the new colorway is a PE or will later be available for purchase.
