ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 Lands in “Rusty Brown”

In honor of 30 years of the signature silhouette, ASICS is reworking the GEL-KAYANO 14 in an earthy colorway. Dubbed “Rusty Brown,” the new GEL-KAYANO 14 sneaker – which landed a spot on Hypebeast’s Editors Picks: Best Sneakers list – is slated to drop before the end of the year.
Part of the EARTHENWARE Pack, the natural-hued sneakers see an almost all-brown silhouette, drawing from earth tones found in nature. Complete with smooth leather overlays and original midsole tooling with GEL® technology cushioning, the pair swaps out the mesh upper for a hexagonal textile base. ASICS recently ran it back as the Hypebeast 100’s Best Footwear Brand of the year, nabbing the spot for a second year in a row.
The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Rusty Brown” run for $160 USD. The joints are set to be released sometime before the end of December via ASICS.com and select retailers.
