Afterpay Brought Dropshop to HBX New York for a Holiday Sneaker Experience

Afterpay’s Dropshop series gives shoppers access to the hottest drops, limited edition collaborations, and exclusive experiences. In partnership with HBX, the “Buy Now, Pay Later” platform has introduced a restock of highly-coveted Jordan Brand releases — some of the hottest styles available right at sneakerheads’ fingertips.

For three weeks in December, Afterpay app users had the chance to secure three Jordan heritage styles: the Jordan Retro 1 “Royal Reimagined,” the Jordan Retro 4 “Olive Craft,” and the Jordan Retro 11 “Gratitude.” This past week, Afterpay celebrated the Dropshop program IRL at HBX New York.

Through a VIP event hosted on December 14, influencers, media, and industry tastemakers could experience the Dropshop in person, including these highly-anticipated Jordan Brand drops. Guests had the chance to see exclusive, re-released sneaker styles in person and check them out on the Afterpay app, just in time for the holidays.

DJ Yazmine set the energy high, and between shopping, attendees sipped on cocktails and small bites from mini grilled cheeses to bite-size fish tacos. Notable guests included Elise Swopes, Adaeze, Valerie Zhang, and more.
