sacai and Moncler Travel to 2093 In New Collaboration
Debuting at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
In late January, sacai‘s Chitose Abe gave Paris Fashion Week an unexpected twist, unveiling an extensive collaboration with Moncler on the runway. While Hypebeast gave you a closer look earlier this year, the collection is finally landing on shelves globally.
sacai and Moncler’s first partnership in ten years celebrates the latter’s 70th anniversary, seeing Abe travel into the future with technical designs steeped in history. The range treks to 2093 across four looks that embrace technical layering. sacai and Moncler’s impactful collaboration takes you from city to mountaintop with hybrid outfits for intergalactic explorers.
The looks are divided between men and women, dominated by a two-toned palette. Black and grey shades accentuate outdoor gear, seeing essential puffer jackets merge with fuzzy vests and pleated dresses. Oversized suiting is complimented by tonal outerwear that can hang to your shoulders for swift release, completing the collection with adjustable bottoms and bibs that balance masculine and feminine styles.
