Pedro Pascal in Talks To Play Reed Richards in ‘Fantastic Four’
Marvel Studios hopes to begin filming early next year.
Pedro Pascal is reportedly up for the role of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in Marvel Studios‘ Fantastic Four.
Sources tell Deadline that the Emmy nominee is currently still discussing the terms and that “a deal is far from done.” The new film will be helmed by Matt Shakman and produced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. Pre-production is currently in progress at Pinewood Studios in England with filming possibly starting by early next year.
Pascal is the first actor tied to reboot, with Deadline reporting that casting offers for the other members of the team can now be sent out as the character of Richards is in discussion.
Marvel had no comment about the report.
