Kim Kardashian To Produce and Star in Comedy Flick ‘The 5th Wheel’
Five majors studios are reportedly battling for the rights.
Kim Kardashian will be flexing her acting skills in a new comedy movie titled The 5th Wheel, according to Deadline. The reality star and entrepreneur will reportedly be not only starring in but also producing, the female-focused film.
While details about the movie’s plot have yet to surface, the script was written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. Kardashian and Pell will be working together to co-produce the project.
Kardashian has been pitching The 5th Wheel to major studios in Hollywood, according to Deadline. The publication reported that multiple bids for the movie have already been made, with five studios battling for the rights.
Kardashian may be best known for her hit reality show, which now airs on Hulu as The Kardashians, but has slowly been segueing into acting work. She previously served as a voice actress for two Paw Patrol projects and recently appeared as a cutthroat publicist in the latest season of American Horror Story.
