Later this week, the NBA Preseason kicks off. However, for Ja Morant, his suspension will keep him out of play for the first 25 games of the regular season. For fans of the electric guard, they can still look forward to an expanding list of releases between him and Nike Basketball, with his hit debut signature shoe — the Nike Ja 1 — taking on yet another new flavor.
Reworking a PE spotted during Hypebeast’s time with Morant and co., this “Autograph” pair puts a twist on the shoe’s “Day One” look. Its mesh and leather upper leans on a soft pink hue with a dark blue at the Swooshes and lining while a Memphis Grizzlies-esque light blue covers the sole unit. Various “12 AM” hits are spread throughout the colorful heel with Morant’s typical “12” embroidery present in blue as well.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has yet to share any release information surrounding the launch of the Nike Ja 1 “Autograph.” Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect this pair to touch down on shelves by the end of the year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $110 USD.
