Nike Air Max Penny 1 "Penny Story" Has a 2024 Release Date
Arriving in February.
Nike is once again paying homage to Penny Hardaway, this time highlighting the puppet alter ego of the athlete, Lil’ Penny. With the Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Penny Story,” the shoe takes inspiration from the iconic 1997 Super Bowl commercial featuring Lil Penny.
The shoe takes on a white, light lemon twist, field purple and anthracite color scheme. With a white leather base, the shoe’s mesh tongue and inner lining is highlighted in field purple while light lemon twist accents enhance the shoe throughout including details on the tongue tab, heel tab, jeweled Swoosh and Air Max unit. The shoe sits atop an anthracite rubber sole that sees an oversized lemon twist Swoosh on the underfoot.
Look out for the Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Penny Story” arrives on February 10 at select retailers and online at Nike for $180 USD.
