Junya Watanabe MAN presented its Fall/Winter 2023 collection at Paris Fashion Week in January. It was packed with unexpected touches, revealing a plethora of partnerships on the runway.

From Carhartt WIP to New Balance, the Japanese designer has stepped into collaboration with no signs of slowing down. Items are beginning to hit shelves, seeing the Junya Watanabe MAN x Oakley Factory Team Flesh Sandal receive official imagery. The experimental Oakley division is grounded in futurism and channels darkened energy into the low-cut sneaker.

Synthetic suede uppers receive wavy paneling and tonal stitching, contrasted by technical underlays with embroidered Oakley symbolism. Padded collars and rear pull tabs complete the upper half, stacked atop bulbous sole units with oval implants and a chunky finish.

Take a closer look at the Junya Watanabe MAN x Oakley Factory Team Flesh Sandal in black above. It will drop in the coming weeks via select retailers, including Dover Street Market, for $280 USD.

In case you missed it, Drake’s Nike NOCTA Glide appears in “White Chrome.”
