Moncler and adidas Originals' Unveil "The Art of Explorers" Collaboration

Moncler and adidas Originals have teamed up to present a brand new collection, taking inspiration from the concept of exploration along with journeys from mountain peaks to the city below.

Titled “The Art of Explorers,” Moncler and adidas Originals’ latest collaboration builds on the duo’s “The Art of Genius” show that first unveiled the collaborative capsule at London Fashion Week in February.

Now, the collection is available to view in its entirety, with new puffers — with long and short silhouettes — coming alongside a new line of track jackets and vests that embody the intersection of both parties.

Additionally, signature Moncler shapes in lacquered nylon are reimagined through adidas Originals details, including adi-break paneling. Luminous shades can also be seen throughout the collection, taking inspiration from the greens, oranges, and reds seen in classic traffic lights. Hues of “Concrete Grey” can then be spotted alongside speckles sky blue and off-white across sinuous quilting, jacquards, and puff prints — and all continue to nod to the patterns created by skiers on snow-covered slopes.

Footwear is also included by Moncler x adidas Originals, with adi’s NMD silhouette embracing a GORE-TEX makeover with bubble padding. Furthermore, the Campus is also hit with Moncler-inspired bubble padding, creating a feel of form-meets-function for life in the mountains and for the metropolitan feel of the inner city.
