Zenith Brings the DEFY A3690 Back as a Boutique-Exclusive Timepiece
Starring a vividly-colored turquoise dial.

The latest wristwatch to be added to Zenith’s DEFY Revival series is the Boutique Edition A3690. Following the return of the A3642 last year, which was Zenith’s first-ever DEFY watch, the brand also recently brought back the A3691, another vintage model from the ‘70s.
Like the previous two DEFY Revival watches, the new A3690 is a faithful reinterpretation of its original inspiration, sporting an iconic 37mm octagonal steel case with 14-sided bezel designs, complete with a matching steel ladder bracelet, and a vignette-effect dial design. The timepiece is powered by the ultra-thin ELITE 670 calibre, the watchmaker’s quintessential automatic movement with a 50-hour-power reserve, and water resistance of up to 30 ATM.
In terms of colors, the A3642 featured a warm gray and the A3691 sported a moody crimson, while the latest piece is characterized by a punchy, turquoise dial — as most Boutique Edition Zenith watches often incorporate accents of blue within their design, dial and movement.
Retailing for $6,900 USD, the DEFY Revival A3690 Boutique Edition is exclusively only available for purchase via Zenith’s online and physical stores.
