Rising Label Śilpa Takes Manchester to South Asia for FW23
Having already designed custom pieces for Wizkid and Meekz, the ceiling has never been higher.
Emerging Manchester-based label Śilpa has just presented its latest collection for Fall/Winter 2023 and it integrates abstract art influences with a distressed aesthetic.
Throughout Manchester, there’s an abundance of labels that are representing the rainy city to the fullest. Whether that’s Clints and Drama Call or HYO Isak and Gramm, Mancunian brands are now consistently driving fans into frenzies with off-the-cuff releases and unique design processes that separate the 0161 from the rest of the UK.
Śilpa is the latest Manchester-residing brand that is breaking boundaries and experimenting with different fabrications like never before — so much so, stars such as Wizkid and Meekz have already cosigned the brand after sporting one-of-one pieces in their respective music videos.

The collection infuses South Asian culture with a contemporary approach, treating pieces like they’re works of art — this is best seen in the denim jacket-trouser co-ord, designed with distressed detailing along the hems, while overlapped pockets are also complemented with pull strings to make jacket tighter, as opposed to its original boxy fit.
Furthermore, Śilpa has also presented an assemblage of other matching sets, leaning into hues of brown, green, and blue. Rounding off the collection, a selection of accessories is included, with each one designed to be matched with its respective co-ord.
You can have a closer look at the new collection from Śilpa above and it will be available on the brand’s official website in the coming weeks.
