Off-White™ and the Chicago Bulls Announce a Collaborative Collection
The capsule honors Virgil Abloh’s passion for basketball and his hometown team and will feature varsity jackets, a hoodie and a tee.
Basketball and its culture was a consistent reference point for Virgil Abloh and his fashion and footwear designs. His passion for the sport and its various nuances was put on display through this collection of Off-White™ x Jordan Brand collaborations as well as his fashion offerings, and this affinity and slated to be honored further with Off-White™‘s forthcoming initiative with the Chicago Bulls — his hometown team.
Conceptualizing this capsule started out with a conversation between Don C, Off-White™ CEO Andrea Grilli and the Abloh family who felt compelled to highlight the deep connection between the luxury fashion brand and the Windy City squad. They paid homage to the NBA franchise with a remixed logo that features a bull palming a basketball in mid-air with a remixed uniform that’s surrounded by the words “Off-White Bulls.” This insignia is expected to make its way on a variety of apparel pieces including a duo of patched varsity jackets, a hoodie and a tee.
Images of the pieces have yet to be unveiled, but you can expect the capsule collection to drop on on February 2 in selected Off-White™ stores, online via the Off-White™ site and on FARFETCH BEAT.
