Stüssy and Timberland Officially Unveil Collaborative GORE-TEX Hiking Boots
Teaming up again for the first time in nearly a decade.
Update: Following an initial teaser shared earlier this week, Stüssy and Timberland have officially revealed further details on its upcoming collaboration. The duo celebrates its presence in streetwear culture by retooling Timberland’s infamous World Hiker Boot.
Arriving in “Black” and “Wheat” colorways, the boot features a GORE-TEX construction fitted with premium leather uppers and waterproof technology. Black-tinted VIBRAM rubber outsoles complete both pairs, delivered with two extra sets of laces for a customizable look.
The collaboration is scheduled to drop at Stüssy chapter stores, Dover Street Market, and Timberland in-store and online on January 13.
Original Story: Following anticipation that the two brands would be partnering up in 2023, Stüssy and Timberland have offered an official first look at their latest collaboration. While images of the rumored collab began circulating online earlier in the week, this is the first time the brands have confirmed the forthcoming release.
Stüssy shared a photo of two new pairs of Timberland work boots along with the message “c-ya soon…” A black pair of the ankle-high boots feature a smooth ostrich-effect leather finish with a thick black sole. The second pair comes in the standard tan Timberland colorway in a rough, textured canvas paired with a Stüssy-imprinted leather tongue.
The boots are also treated with GORE-TEX weatherproofing and boast metal grommets and a GORE-TEX-branded plaque.
Stüssy and Timberland first collaborated in 2009. They put out a collaboration each year until 2014, their last collaboration being the Fall/Winter series of 6-Inch Boots. The new teaser is an exciting update for those who have been reminiscing about the collabs of years past and holding out for a new one over the years.
