Once again joining in on the Lunar New Year celebrations is Dr. Martens, which retunes its classic 1460 8-eye boot and 1461 3-eye oxfords with special gold charms and bright red details.

Both pairs of boots are fitted with mismatched character-engraved lace charms, gold D rings, and aglets which accent the black smooth leather uppers. Generous splashes of red are used for the gold-embroidered Air Wair heel loop and exposed Goodyear welt stitching while the 1460 boots incorporate an additional red panel on the tongue featuring a jungle zip closure. The special-edition high-tops are found with black air-cushioned soles while the 3-eye soles are given a semi-translucent red finish. Both pairs come with red alternate laces and seasonal packaging

Dr. Martens’ “Year of the Rabbit” series is now available via the brand’s website and select locations. Prices range from $150 USD for the 1461 Oxfords to $180 for the 1460 Lace-Up Boots.
