Nike has just provided a first glimpse of its revitalized Air Max 1 G in a third colorway, as it arrives this time in a prim “White/Black” ensemble. The brand has certainly produced some out there versions of its Air Max Golf series in recent years, the “Safari Pack” being a prime example, but with the AM1 it’s adopting a more conservative approach to start out.

The simple white and black color scheme highlights what Air Max fans will be most excited about with this shoe: the return of the “Big Bubble” Air Max unit. Apart from that, the shoe is treated with a black mudguard and Swoosh, and a white quarter section and mesh toe box. The only sign of golf-specific branding arrives on the insoles, but aside from that there’s not much to distinguish from the lifestyle version.

Anyone interested in copping will have to wait for a release date, but something within the next few months is likely.

In other golf related news, Malbon linked up with adidas for the first time to provide a spin on the outdoorsy adicross range.
