Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome GORE-TEX Gets Fitted in a “Khaki/Atomic Orange” Color Scheme

With sub-zero snowstorms and pouring precipitation starting to show up more consistently now, it’s imperative that if you are going to step outside that you have the proper footwear to keep your comfortable and protected. Thankfully, the Nike team has been rolling out a variety of weatherproof footwear models, one being the Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome GORE-TEX. After getting unveiled in a “Trails End Brown” colorway, the model has been unveiled in a new “Khaki/Atomic Orange” color scheme.
To prevent your feet from getting drenched in the snow and rain, the Swoosh designers have dressed this gorpcore sneaker with GORE-TEX membranes across its high-cut base layer. A majority of the upper half is styled in “Khaki” while notes of soft white show up on the ACG branding that lands on the tongues, small Nike checks atop the quarter panels and GORE-TEX hits on the forefoot. Pops of “Atomic Orange” are dispersed to the ACG logos on the collars as well as the pull tab son the tongues and heels. The latter channels a construction worker vest-inspired look which makes sense in this context considering that the sneakers are built for functionality and can be spotted in dimly-lit environments.
Nike and other retailers will be dropping these in the coming weeks for $230 USD.
