Teddy Santis' Latest New Balance MADE in USA Collection Features the 990v3
Arriving in a tan with green colorway.
Since taking over New Balance’s MADE in USA line as the Creative Director, Teddy Santis has continued to issue footwear collections that share a complementary color palette throughout. Last week, the brand revealed a tan and green 990v1 colorway prepared for the MADE in USA division’s newest seasonal collection. Now, the color combination is further emphasized on the ever-popular 990v3.
Commonly appearing in MADE in USA collections, the 990v3’s signature nubuck leather and premium mesh upper make yet another return. A forest green mesh base has been readied with “Vachetta Tan”-esque nubuck overlays that dominate a majority of the sneaker. Minor green leather overlays team up with hits of beige, black, red and a darker green at the heel to complete the upper. ENCAP midsole cushioning is covered by pale green tooling that rests upon a black rubber outsole and off-white heel section at the midsole.
Fans of Teddy Santis’ work with New Balance and the MADE in USA line can look forward to the launch of this 990v3 colorway later this week on January 26. Launching at 10am EST, it will be available via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $200 USD.
