Following a fresh green-and-purple take on the 990v3, New Balance revisits the original silhouette with a 990v1 “MADE in USA” dressed in tan and green hits.

Currently led by Aimé Leon Dore‘s Teddy Santis, the New Balance Made in USA collection has been designed with authentic American craftsmanship for over 75 years — each piece containing a domestic value of 70 percent or more. First introduced in 1982, the upcoming 990v1 pairs incorporate rustic hues of tan, green, and burnt yellow across a mix of mesh, suede, and leather. Details include special “Made in U.S.A.” denoted tongue tabs, rubber heel counter attachments, and two-tone midsoles featuring black rubber outsoles.

Take a closer look at the New Balance 990 “MADE in USA” above and expect the pairs to arrive in the coming weeks via New Balance and select retailers.

Elsewhere in footwear, New Balance 550 surfaces in “Pine Green.”
