District Vision Ventures Into Cycling With $30,000 USD Titanium Touring Bicycle
Alongside a selection of activewear pieces.
Max Vallot and Tom Daly’s District Vision is known for its attention to providing simple, yet refined running staples. But now the Los Angeles-based brand is expanding its chops with District Vision Cycling.
The new endeavor from the brand serves as an homage to 1970s off-road cycling in California and Japan. Leading the charge is a custom, one-of-one Titanium Touring Bicycle, which retails for $30,000 USD. Developed over the course of a year, the bike features a 55cm titanium frame and was handcrafted by Yoshi Nishikawa of Kualis Cycles in Japan. Additionally, the bike also includes a titanium stem, brazed steel adventure fork, 650b wheels, a disc brake, a carbon fiber seat post inserts and more. Outside of the design specs, the bike includes five touring bags, which were constructed by Yanco in LA.
Alongside the bike, the foray into cycling includes a selection of activewear garments. The offering includes an Insulated Primaloft Gilet, Ultralight Packable Wind Jacket, Cargo Bib Shorts and a Sportwool Short Sleeve Jersey – all appearing in navy and black. The selection of pieces ranges in price from $210 to $295 USD.
